Academic Tutor - The College of Idaho

May 2024 - Present (1 year 1 month)

As an Academic Tutor at The College of Idaho, I support students in mastering both Calculus and Education courses. My goal is to break down complex concepts—whether it’s solving challenging calculus problems or navigating intricate educational theories—into manageable, clear steps. By fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, I aim to empower students to overcome academic challenges with confidence.

The most rewarding part of my role is witnessing those “aha” moments—the instant when a concept clicks, and a student’s understanding shifts. Those moments of clarity remind me why I’m passionate about education and the transformative power of learning. (Location: United States)

International Students Organization

April 2024 - Present (Part-Time)

Coordinate cross-cultural events for 100+ international students, collaborating with other clubs. Curate event ideas, manage coordination, and communicate details to ensure inclusive, engaging experiences.

Asian Student Association

Co-Founder & Board Member - Project 21 Kenya

February 2021 - August 2023 (2 years 7 months)

Project 21 is a youth coalition based on eradicating extremely muddied destitution affecting communities primarily Kakuma Refugees Camp by initiating projects that will end the hurdles in the Camp and at large. At the moment, the project is based on providing tailoring materials to women who know how to sew to start a business. (Location: Turkana West, Turkana, Kenya)

Co-Founder & Director of Technology - Project 21 Kenya

February 2021 - August 2023 (2 years 7 months)

I worked with a team of highly motivated individuals whose desires have impacted a lot of people at the camp. As a technology director and co-founder, I have been able to lead in funding acquisition for the programs where we have been able to conduct a lot of charity work such as constructing a house for a needy homeless mother whose house had been carried away by flood. The work we have done in the last two years has set a foundation for learning while giving back to my community. I hope to continue this in the future. (Location: Kakuma, Turkana County, Kenya)
